Sticker Design for Nighthawk Sports

Not all cricket brands are created equal. Nighthawk Cricket stands apart because of their commitment to performance, accessibility, and innovation. As a disrupter to the cricket space, Nighthawk Sport wanted a different and timeless approach to their sticker design.

In collaboration with Pixelpunk, the design was led by doing the un-normal. This design is different and made to stand out in the sea of similar sticker designs by referencing the Hawk silhouette, the angles of the hawks wings and beak, and the use of motifs to represent the different types of cricket bat. This design oozes class, with clean lines, subtle gradients, and small details.

Sticker Design for Nighthawk Sports

In cricket, a "nighthawk" is a lower-order batter who plays aggressive shots to put pressure on the opposing team. The term is similar to "night watchman".

When a wicket falls late in the day, England no longer call for a nightwatchman – they call for the Nighthawk!
